The Kitchen Display module moves every order placed at the table to the kitchen screen within seconds — eliminating paper tickets and verbal communication. Orders are grouped by station: cold kitchen, hot kitchen and bar each run on their own screen. Each item's preparation time is tracked with colour-changing timers; late orders turn red.
When a prepared item is marked 'Ready', an automatic notification is sent to the Table Management module and the waiter brings it to the guest. Preparation time data is passed to the XON ERP Reporting module to underpin kitchen efficiency analysis; stock depletion happens in real time at the moment each order is confirmed.
ScreensOrder Queue
Incoming orders are tracked in New, Preparing and Ready columns; the kitchen team advances the order status with a tap.
Station View
The active item count, average wait time and late order count for each kitchen station are listed in a table.
Prep Times
Daily and weekly average preparation times per item are visualised on the dashboard; items exceeding the target time are highlighted.
