Room Status

Clean / Dirty / Inspected / Out of Order tracking

Overview

The Room Status module tracks each room's live cleaning and availability state: Dirty, Cleaning, Clean, Inspected or Out of Order. After check-out a room automatically moves to 'Dirty'; as staff update the status, the room becomes sellable again.

The Reservations module sees room status live; a room is blocked from new check-in until it is 'Inspected'. Rooms reported with a technical fault are marked 'Out of Order' and blocked from sale; status history is retained for reporting.

The live status, floor and last-update time for all rooms are listed in a single table; quick checks are made with the status filter.

Fault Report
