The Manufacturing module manages the workflow from basic work-order creation to closure. For each order, a bill of materials (BOM) and the required raw-material quantity are defined; when the order closes, planned versus actual material consumption is compared.
Materials consumed in production are drawn automatically from the Inventory module, and the finished product is recorded as finished-goods stock. Production cost (materials + scrap rate) is transferred to the Accounting module when the work order closes; advanced capacity planning and scheduling are on the roadmap.
ScreensWork Order Board
Active production orders are tracked in Kanban format across Preparation, In Production and Completed columns; overdue orders are highlighted with a red tag.
Work Order List
Open and completed work orders are listed with finished good, quantity and planned finish date; advanced capacity planning is currently out of scope.
BOM Definition
The raw materials and quantities required to produce a finished product are defined in a basic BOM structure; scrap rate is reflected in unit cost.
