The Inventory module manages all stock movements across multiple warehouses and branches from a single centre. Receipts, issues, inter-warehouse transfers and physical counts are recorded in real time; the Barcode Sequences screen generates new checksum-valid EAN-13/UPC codes while preserving the company prefix. Lot and serial-number traceability simplifies quality control and product recall scenarios.
When purchase orders are approved, warehouse receipts are created automatically; customs, freight and insurance costs calculated in import files (landed cost) are folded into stock cost. When critical stock levels are breached, the Purchasing module receives an alert. Stock cost is calculated using the weighted average method (WAC) and passed to the Accounting module automatically.
ScreensWarehouse Overview
Summary cards show the real-time stock value, number of movements and count of items at critical levels across all warehouses.
Stock Cards
All products are listed with their current balance, cost and date of last movement; filterable by warehouse and category.
Warehouse Transfers
A transfer request between warehouses is created; stock is deducted from the sending warehouse instantly, and the balance is tracked as 'in transit' at the destination until receipt is confirmed.
Barcode Sequences
Product barcodes are generated from a sequence with EAN-13/UPC checksum validation; the company prefix is preserved to prevent collisions.
